The main purpose of a tie rod end is to transfer motion from the steering gear to the steering knuckle, which ensures the wheels are turning at an optimal angle. A compromised tie rod end results in behavioral changes to the wheels which can cause your steering to become unresponsive and impact your ability to take corners safely.
Drag Links
- ISO / IATF 16949 certified, direct fit and made from high quality materials to meet orginal specifications
- Built to last anti-corrosion finish prevents unnecessary wear
- Ball joint is lubricated and sealed, protecting against water damage and contamination
A drag link is a suspension linkage component that links the vehicle's steering gear box to the tie rod ends. When steering input is present, the drag link transfers the motion from the gear box to the wheels, turning the vehicle in the process. A worn out drag link can cause accelerated tire wear as well as steering shifts to either side.
